HEICO Corporation Acquires Intelligent Devices and Transformational Security

HEICO Corporation's Electronic Technologies Group acquired majority interests in Intelligent Devices, Inc. (ID) and Transformational Security, LLC (TS) from their founder-owner-managers for cash at closing plus potential earnouts. The two Columbia, Maryland-based technical surveillance countermeasures companies (approximately 50 employees combined) will continue operating from their existing location and will report into HEICO's Electronic Technologies Group to expand HEICO's TSCM capabilities for defense, intelligence and government customers.

Sole Source Capital Acquires I.D. Images

Sole Source Capital LLC, an industrial-focused private equity firm, has acquired I.D. Images (IDI), a manufacturer of durable and graphic-intensive product identification labels headquartered in Brunswick, Ohio. Sole Source said it will provide capital and integration expertise to support IDI's buy-and-build growth across North America; terms were not disclosed.

IndySoft Acquires UK Distributor IndySoft Europe LTD

Jake Bishop, former Managing Director of IndySoft Europe, will join IndySoft as Director of Global Sales as the company advances its international expansion in calibration and measurement-driven asset management software.

ID Logistics Acquires GVT Transport & Logistics (Benelux)

ID Logistics has completed the acquisition of 100% of GVT Transport & Logistics, the transport and logistics division of GVT Group of Logistics, strengthening its Benelux footprint. GVT operates 12 sites (headquartered in Tilburg, Netherlands), employs more than 750 people, rents ~200,000 m² of warehouses and runs a fleet of 285 trucks, serving mainly international electronics and non-food retail customers.

Blackstone Acquires International Data Group (IDG) for $1.3B

Blackstone’s private equity funds have completed the acquisition of International Data Group, Inc. (IDG) from Oriental Rainbow, LLC (a China Oceanwide subsidiary) for an enterprise value of $1.3 billion. IDG — which includes IDC and IDG Communications — provides market intelligence, data and technology-focused media; Blackstone said it will partner with IDG to expand product offerings and drive technology innovation.

Groupe HLD Acquires Infodis

Groupe HLD has acquired Infodis, a French IT integration and infrastructure outsourcing specialist with about 600 employees. HLD said Infodis will leverage the group's financial and operational support to accelerate development in France and internationally and pursue targeted acquisitions of high value‑added IT expertise; the transaction follows LBO France's prior majority ownership.
