Boston Scientific Acquires Baylis Medical Company Inc.

Boston Scientific Corporation agreed to acquire Baylis Medical Company Inc. for an upfront payment of $1.75 billion, subject to closing adjustments. The acquisition expands Boston Scientific’s electrophysiology and structural heart portfolios by adding Baylis’s RF NRG and VersaCross transseptal platforms and complementary guidewires, sheaths and dilators; Baylis was expected to generate nearly $200 million in net sales in 2022.

Altus Fire and Life Safety Acquires BK Systems, Inc.

Altus Fire and Life Safety, a platform company backed by AE Industrial Partners, has acquired BK Systems, Inc., a Pembroke, New Hampshire-based provider of installation, monitoring and repair services for fire alarm, suppression and security systems. BK Systems' founder Karl Klardie and his daughter Beth Mortell retain a minority stake; terms were not disclosed. The deal is an add-on to the Altus platform and expands its presence and Honeywell NOTIFIER ESD capability across Northern New England.

Boston Scientific Acquires BTG plc

GE HealthCare Acquires Caption Health

Altaris Capital Partners Acquires Meridian Medical Technologies from Pfizer

Meridian, a pioneer in emergency response drug-device combination products and auto-injectors with facilities in St. Louis, Missouri and Columbia, Maryland and more than 750 employees, will become an Altaris portfolio company to expand the firm's capabilities in medical countermeasures and emergency response solutions.
