General Electric Company (through GE HealthCare) has acquired BK Medical from Altaris Capital Partners for a cash purchase price of $1.45 billion. The acquisition brings BK Medical's intraoperative ultrasound and surgical visualization capabilities into GE Healthcare's ultrasound portfolio, expanding GE's offering from diagnostics into surgical and therapeutic interventions.
