Fraser Valley Building Supplies Acquires Maglio Building Centres (Nelson & Trail)

Fraser Valley Building Supplies, a RONA-affiliated regional builder’s merchant, has acquired the Maglio Building Centres in Nelson and Trail, British Columbia, from Tony Maglio and family. The two locations will be rebranded to the RONA banner, expanded with new product categories and online shopping, and integrated into Fraser Valley’s existing BC store network as part of a strategy to consolidate the region and expand offerings to contractors and DIY customers.

The Flowr Corporation (TSXV: FLWR) will acquire all outstanding common shares of Terrace Global Inc. (TSXV: TRCE) in a court‑approved plan of arrangement in a share‑based transaction valuing Terrace at approximately $63 million. The deal (0.4973 Flowr shares per Terrace share, implied $0.22 per Terrace share) is intended to strengthen Flowr's international presence and create a vertically integrated cannabis platform with enhanced liquidity and reduced indebtedness.

Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA) has completed the acquisition of Coast Mountain Resources (2020) Ltd., the operator of the Bamberton Quarry on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, located on Malahat First Nation land. The acquisition strengthens Granite's vertically integrated construction materials footprint in its home markets and Granite says it will work with the Malahat First Nation to manage a safe and environmentally responsible operation.

Cairngorm Capital-backed Grant & Stone has acquired CRS Building Supplies Limited, merging the Somerset-based builders merchant into the Grant & Stone group as part of its buy-and-build strategy. The deal adds CRS’s 12 branches and local brand to Grant & Stone’s footprint, creating an enlarged group with 44 branches, over 500 employees and revenues in excess of £140m; the transaction was driven by the CRS owners' succession planning.
