ETFS Capital, a London-based strategic investment firm, has acquired the business of ETF.com from Cboe Global Markets. Terms were not disclosed; ETFS Capital said it will invest in ETF.com and integrate it with its portfolio assets (including ETF Stream and AltFi) to expand its media, data and analytics capabilities for the global ETF industry.

Cboe Global Markets Acquires NEO (Aequitas Innovations)

Cboe Global Markets has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aequitas Innovations, Inc. (NEO), the operator of the Toronto-based NEO Exchange and related businesses including NEO Connect. The deal strengthens Cboe's Canadian equities and listings capabilities, combining NEO with Cboe's existing MATCHNow ATS to create a more comprehensive Canadian equities platform; the transaction is expected to close in H1 2022 subject to regulatory approvals.

Payoneer Completes Business Combination with FTAC Olympus Acquisition Corp.

Payoneer Inc. completed a business combination with special purpose acquisition company FTAC Olympus Acquisition Corp., creating the new public entity Payoneer Global Inc. The combined company began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbols PAYO and PAYOW and the transaction included a $300 million PIPE from investors including Wellington Management, Dragoneer, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Millennium, T. Rowe Price and Winslow Capital.

OFX Acquires Firma Foreign Exchange Corporation for C$90m

The acquisition adds over 9,600 corporate clients, increases OFX's North America revenue substantially, and is expected to be accretive to EPS while delivering cost and revenue synergies.

Modern Wealth Management Acquires OFM Wealth

Modern Wealth Management, a Crestview Partners-backed RIA platform, has signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire Chicago-area OFM Wealth, bringing Modern Wealth's AUM to over $7.5 billion. OFM Wealth's six-person team will join Modern Wealth's national platform to access centralized services and support as part of Modern Wealth's continuing roll-up strategy.
