A&R Logistics, a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, has acquired RJ's Transportation, a Port Allen, Louisiana-based provider of bulk liquid transportation and related trucking services. The add-on strengthens A&R's liquid chemical platform and expands its Gulf Coast geographic coverage while RJ's founder and president will remain involved in the combined business.

Wind Point Partners’ portfolio company A&R Logistics has acquired Luckey Trucking, a Streator, Illinois-based provider of dry bulk, liquid bulk, dry van transportation, warehousing and rail transloading services to the chemical industry. The add-on expands A&R’s chemical supply chain platform, increasing its specialized fleet, terminal footprint and railcar transloading capabilities while key members of the Luckey family and leadership join the combined business.

Chicago-based private equity firm Wind Point Partners has acquired A&R Logistics, a Louisville-headquartered provider of integrated dry bulk logistics for the chemical and plastics industries. Wind Point will partner with A&R management to expand the company’s domestic infrastructure, grow export capabilities in the Southeast ports, and pursue add-on acquisitions to increase scale and service scope.

Auxo Investment Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Andrie LLC

Auxo Investment Partners has acquired a majority stake in Muskegon-based Andrie LLC, a Jones Act bulk transporter operating tugs and barges across the Great Lakes. The investment makes Andrie part of Auxo's newly created Auxo Marine platform alongside M/G Transport Services; financial terms were not disclosed and the Andrie family retains a significant minority stake while Stan Andrie Jr. remains CEO.
