Reconomy, via its North American arm Lincoln Waste Solutions, has acquired National Waste Associates, a Glastonbury, Connecticut-based outsourced managed waste services provider. The deal expands Lincoln Waste Solutions' customer base and capabilities in the US — strengthening Reconomy's push to build a material position in North America and helping Lincoln become a top-five waste and recycling operator in the US.

London-based Reconomy has acquired Integrated Waste Analysts (IWA), a Hanover, Maryland industrial waste-management and recycling services provider, through its North American platform Lincoln Waste Solutions by Reconomy. The deal, IWA being the seventh add-on to the Lincoln platform, expands Reconomy's U.S. capabilities in data-driven waste services, equipment rental and commodity management as it scales across North America.

Reconomy has completed the acquisitions of Complete Solutions & Sourcing (Peekskill, NY) and Waste Focus (Feeding Hills, MA) and will integrate them into its US platform, Lincoln Waste Solutions. The add‑ons expand Lincoln Waste Solutions' waste management and recycling capabilities across retail, multi‑family and property management end markets and add more than 100 employees to the group as Reconomy scales its US operations.

Macquarie GIG Acquires BayWa r.e. Bioenergy GmbH

Macquarie Asset Management's Green Investment Group (GIG), via its Macquarie GIG Energy Transition Solutions fund, has acquired BayWa r.e. Bioenergy GmbH from BayWa r.e. AG. The specialist biogas platform owns five operational biomethane plants in Germany and a development pipeline in Italy; GIG said it will grow the business across Germany, Italy and other European markets.
