Tarsus Pharmaceuticals Acquires iRenix Medical to Advance IRX-101 for Retina Care

Tarsus Pharmaceuticals announced it has acquired iRenix Medical, adding late-stage investigational ocular antiseptic IRX-101 to its eye care pipeline. Under the agreement, Tarsus will pay about $75 million upfront (cash and stock) and make additional regulatory and commercial milestone payments up to $490 million.

The transactions are intended to form a new independent CDMO platform (headquartered in the UK) that expands Blue Wolf's pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities and commercial reach across Europe.

ABIONYX Pharma Acquires IRIS Pharma via Contribution in Kind
