Saco Foods Acquires Solo Foods from Sokol & Company

Saco Foods Holdings, a branded food company and platform backed by private equity, has acquired Solo Foods LLC from Chicago-based Sokol & Company. The tuck-in add-on expands Saco's center-store baking portfolio (cake and pastry fillings, marzipan and almond paste) and will leverage Saco's shared services, retail placement and e-commerce channels to grow the Solo brand.
