Hologic Acquires Endomagnetics (Endomag) for About $310 Million

Hologic signed a definitive agreement to acquire Endomagnetics Ltd (Endomag), a Cambridge, United Kingdom-based developer of breast cancer surgical guidance technologies, for approximately $310 million. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and Endomag’s wireless breast surgery localization and lymphatic tracing solutions are expected to complement Hologic’s breast surgery portfolio.

Walmart Acquires VIZIO for $2.3 Billion

Covis Group Acquires AMAG Pharmaceuticals

Covis Group S.à r.l. completed a cash tender offer and merger to acquire AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for $13.75 per share, taking AMAG private and delisting its NASDAQ shares. The acquisition adds AMAG’s marketed products (including Feraheme and Makena) and development-stage assets in women’s health and hematology/oncology to Covis’ specialty pharma portfolio, supported by financing from Capital One and investment funds managed by HPS Investment Partners.

Marvell Technology Acquires Inphi Corporation

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. agreed to acquire Inphi Corporation in a cash-and-stock transaction that will combine Marvell's storage, networking and processor portfolio with Inphi's high-speed electro-optics interconnect platform. The deal positions the combined company to lead in cloud data center and 5G infrastructure markets, will domicile the combined company in the United States, and is expected to deliver $125 million of annual run-rate synergies within 18 months.

Samsung Electronics Acquires TeleWorld Solutions

Samsung Electronics (through its U.S. arm) has acquired TeleWorld Solutions, a Chantilly, Virginia–based network services provider. The acquisition expands Samsung's U.S. network services and 5G capabilities—TeleWorld will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics America with its leadership team remaining in place.
