Aspen Technology Acquires Open Grid Systems

Aspen Technology entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Open Grid Systems Limited, a provider of network model management technology for utilities. The integration is intended to expand AspenTech’s Digital Grid Management suite with model-driven capabilities to help utilities better manage and scale grid model data for transmission and distribution operations and resiliency, subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close before the end of 2024.

ECI Software Solutions Acquires ThermoGRID

The acquisition, which closed on September 1, 2020, brings ThermoGRID into ECI's Field Service division to expand ECI's capabilities and reach into residential HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other contractor markets; terms were not disclosed.
