Scholastic Acquires Learning Ovations (A2i)

Scholastic Corporation acquired Learning Ovations, the creator of the A2i literacy assessment and instructional planning system, to integrate research-backed screening, progress monitoring and professional learning into Scholastic’s literacy platform. The acquisition adds A2i’s ESSA Tier 1–rated technology and team to Scholastic Education Solutions; financial terms were not disclosed.
