Scientist.com has acquired Notch8, a San Diego–area application and software development firm, to add web and mobile development, code audits, framework upgrades and deployment optimization to its Science as a Service platform. The deal expands Scientist.com's capabilities and strengthens the infrastructure and functionality of its R&D software marketplace for pharmaceutical and biotech researchers.
