R1 entered into an agreement to acquire Humata Health, an AI-powered prior authorization automation company. The deal will integrate Humata’s policy monitoring and agentic prior-auth workflows into R1’s Phare Operating System to support more real-time, end-to-end revenue-cycle automation. The transaction is expected to close by the end of Q3 2026, and financial terms were not disclosed.
