South Mill Champs (SMC), a leading vertically-integrated mushroom grower based in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, has acquired The Mushroom Company, a long-established mushroom processor headquartered in Cambridge, Maryland. The acquisition expands SMC's processing capabilities (IQF, canning, blanching, blending, roasting) and capacity to better serve foodservice and industrial customers across North America.
