SRS Distribution Inc., a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners, has acquired Sunniland Corporation, a long-established distributor of residential and commercial roofing products and landscape fertilizers headquartered in Sanford, Florida. Sunniland will continue to operate under its existing brand with Tom Moore and the current leadership team remaining in place; the deal expands SRS's branch network and presence in the Florida/Southeast market.

The Home Depot entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SRS Distribution, a leading residential specialty trade distributor serving professional roofers, landscapers, and pool contractors, for approximately $18.25 billion enterprise value. The deal increases Home Depot’s addressable pro market and expands its specialty trade distribution capabilities across multiple verticals. The acquisition was completed on June 18, 2024.

The transaction, advised by Generational Capital Markets, closed May 15, 2023 and is intended to expand Field Industries' product breadth, service capabilities and scale in petrochemical, oilfield and industrial markets.
