Standard Motor Products Acquires Nissens Automotive

Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has completed the acquisition of AX V Nissens III APS ("Nissens") from Nordic private equity firm Axcel and the Nissen family for approximately $390 million (€360 million), net of cash and assumed debt. The deal brings the Denmark-headquartered thermal-management and aftermarket air‑conditioning supplier into SMP’s portfolio to create an aftermarket leader across North America and Europe and drive cross‑selling and synergies.
