Stewart Information Services Intends to Acquire Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS)

Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC) entered into an agreement to acquire Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS), a property preservation services provider supporting mortgage servicers and lenders. The purchase is expected to close before year-end, subject to customary conditions and HSR waiting-period expiration/termination, and Stewart plans to add MCS’s operations and technology to expand its Real Estate Solutions services.
