Storj Acquires Valdi to Add On-Demand GPU Compute to Its Distributed Cloud

Storj has acquired Valdi, an on-demand high-performance GPU compute provider, to integrate large-scale GPU capacity with Storj's distributed S3-compatible object storage. The deal gives Storj access to thousands of GPUs (Valdi operates a global network with over 16,000 GPUs) and advances Storj's goal of offering a full-stack distributed cloud solution optimized for AI/ML, research and data-intensive workloads.
