Sweetmore Bakeries, a Chicago-based specialty bakery group, has completed its acquisition of Fantasy Baking Co., a private-label and branded sweet baked goods manufacturer based in Sylmar, California. The deal expands Sweetmore’s footprint with its first West Coast manufacturing facility and strengthens its capabilities in cookies and baked bars, following Shore Capital Partners’ 2025 recapitalization of Sweetmore.
