Sycamore Partners Acquires Azamara from Royal Caribbean Group

Sycamore Partners completed an all-cash purchase of the Azamara brand, including its three-ship fleet and associated intellectual property, from Royal Caribbean Group for $201 million. Royal Caribbean divested Azamara to focus on its core brands while Sycamore aims to support and grow the upmarket cruise line.
