TDR Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Acqua & Sapone

TDR Capital signed an agreement to acquire Acqua & Sapone, Italy’s leading non-food value discount retailer focused on household and personal care products, from H.I.G. Capital and the founding Barbarossa family. H.I.G. and the Barbarossa family will retain a significant equity stake, and the transaction was subject to antitrust clearance at announcement.
