Micross Components has acquired Technograph Microcircuits Ltd., a Portsmouth-based electronics manufacturer that provides hybrid integrated circuits, RF & microwave products, optoelectronics and PCB assembly. The acquisition expands Micross' high-reliability packaging and substrate capabilities to better serve aerospace, defense, space, medical and other mission-critical end markets and reduces supply-chain risk for customers.

Teledyne Technologies to Acquire FLIR Systems for About $8 Billion

FLIR shareholders will receive $28 per share in cash plus 0.0718 shares of Teledyne common stock for each FLIR share, with the transaction expected to close in mid-2021 subject to regulatory approvals.

McKean Defense Group Acquires Mikros Systems Corporation

McKean Defense Group agreed to acquire Mikros Systems Corporation for approximately $4.6 million in cash, purchasing all outstanding common stock in a merger. The acquisition strengthens McKean's U.S. Navy portfolio by adding Mikros' electronic systems, combat-systems monitoring and diagnostic analytics capabilities to support Littoral Combat Ship programs and other naval sustainment work.

Teledyne Technologies Acquires Valeport Holdings

Teledyne Technologies has entered into an agreement to acquire Valeport Holdings Limited, a Totnes, United Kingdom–based designer and manufacturer of underwater sensors and oceanographic instrumentation. Valeport's product portfolio—sound velocity probes, current and flow meters, CTD sensors and multi-parameter profilers—will join Teledyne Marine to expand Teledyne's subsea technology offerings; terms were not disclosed.

Teledyne Acquires Select Aerospace and Defense Electronics Businesses from Excelitas

Teledyne Technologies agreed to acquire select aerospace and defense electronics businesses from Excelitas Technologies for approximately $710 million in cash. The deal includes Excelitas’ Optical Systems (Qioptiq) business in Northern Wales, UK and its U.S.-based Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) business, which will be integrated into Teledyne’s Aerospace and Defense Electronics segment.
