Teledyne Acquires Select Aerospace and Defense Electronics Businesses from Excelitas

Teledyne Technologies agreed to acquire select aerospace and defense electronics businesses from Excelitas Technologies for approximately $710 million in cash. The deal includes Excelitas’ Optical Systems (Qioptiq) business in Northern Wales, UK and its U.S.-based Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) business, which will be integrated into Teledyne’s Aerospace and Defense Electronics segment.
