Cold Chain Technologies Acquires Packaging Technology Group (PTG)

Cold Chain Technologies (a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners) has acquired Packaging Technology Group (PTG), a Fall River, Massachusetts-based provider of sustainable, curbside-recyclable thermal packaging for the life sciences industry. The add-on strengthens CCT's sustainable thermal packaging portfolio and expands its capabilities and product offering for biopharmaceutical customers; terms were not disclosed.

Engineered Foam Packaging (EFP), a unit of EFP, LLC., has acquired NatureKool, Inc., a North Carolina-based maker of natural-fiber insulated shippers. The deal expands EFP's Temperature Solutions Group product set with compostable, curbside-recyclable natural-fiber thermal packaging and strengthens its cold-chain and sustainable packaging capabilities for pharmaceutical and food customers.

Installed Building Products, Inc. (IBP) completed three acquisitions to expand its insulation installation and complementary building products platform. The company acquired Thermo-Tech Mechanical Insulation (Feb. 2, 2026), Biomax Spray Foam Insulation (Jan. 19, 2026), and CKV Finished Products (Dec. 11, 2025), adding more than $22 million in combined annual revenue and broadening IBP’s footprint across U.S. regions and end markets.

IPACKCHEM Group Acquires Majority Stake in TPG Plastics LLC

Foam Fabricators Acquires Substantially All Assets of Polyfoam Corp.

Foam Fabricators, a Compass Diversified Holdings-backed packaging platform, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Massachusetts-based Polyfoam Corp., expanding Foam Fabricators' protective and temperature-sensitive packaging capabilities and geographic footprint. The deal adds Polyfoam's cold-chain and injection-molded plastic capabilities and enables cross-selling to national customers while Foam Fabricators also announced a partnership with Rational Packaging and commercialization of a biodegradable EPS product.
