The Estée Lauder Companies to Acquire the TOM FORD Brand

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (ELC) signed an agreement to acquire the TOM FORD brand, becoming the sole owner of the TOM FORD brand and all related intellectual property. The $2.8 billion deal is expected to close in the first half of calendar 2023 and is structured with cash/debt plus deferred payments; ELC will also extend licensing arrangements with Zegna (fashion/accessories) and Marcolin (eyewear).
