The deal expands Tide Rock’s plastics manufacturing platform by adding mid-tonnage injection molding capacity, robot-assisted automated production and broader end-market coverage across commercial, industrial and specialty consumer products. Michael Engler (CEO of Tide Rock portfolio companies) will lead Altratek as CEO alongside Dan Kaven, the company’s former owner, to manage the transition.
