Transcat Acquires Essco Calibration Laboratory

Transcat, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRNS) acquired Essco Calibration Laboratory, an ISO-17025 accredited calibration services provider based in the Boston metro area, for $84 million in cash. The deal expands Transcat's presence and capabilities in New England, adds over $22 million of annual revenue and brings 113 Essco employees into Transcat's operations.
