TreeHouse Foods Acquires Harris Tea Business for Approximately $205 Million

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire certain subsidiaries operating the private brand tea business of Harris Freeman & Co (Harris Tea) for approximately $205 million. The deal includes Harris Tea’s manufacturing facilities in Moorestown, New Jersey and Marietta, Georgia, and is expected to be margin-accretive and provide vertical integration into TreeHouse’s tea business. TreeHouse later completed the acquisition for approximately $205 million.
