Truckstop.com has acquired Registry Monitoring Insurance Services (RMIS), a provider of automated carrier onboarding and insurance monitoring software and services for the freight industry. The deal brings RMIS’s compliance and insurance-monitoring capabilities into Truckstop.com’s freight marketplace to strengthen broker, shipper and carrier relationships and introduce“Compliance-as-a-Service.”
