Between May 2020 and January 2021, ARCHIMED-backed BOMI Group completed six buy-and-build acquisitions—Logifarma, Consigliere, Autotransporti Gigliotti & Bergamin, RH Logistics (UK), Deco Pharma (Spain) and Florence Shipping—adding roughly 20% to BOMI's annual revenues. The deals expand BOMI's geographic footprint into the UK and Iberia and broaden its healthcare logistics capabilities (including specialist air freight and clinical-trial sample handling).

Bomi Group Acquires Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) in Ecuador and Peru

Bomi Group has acquired 100% of the share capital of a group of five companies operating as Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) across Ecuador and Peru. The deal expands Bomi's presence in Latin America and strengthens its pharma and animal-health cold-chain, warehousing and distribution capabilities (ILS operates in Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca and Lima and provides 45,000 sqm of warehousing, 1,500 m³ of cold rooms and a 120-truck fleet).

UPS to Acquire Frigo-Trans and BPL for Healthcare Cold-Chain Logistics Expansion

UPS has agreed to acquire Frigo-Trans and its sister company BPL (together “Frigo-Trans”), Germany-based providers of complex healthcare logistics. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025 and is intended to expand UPS’s end-to-end, temperature-controlled (cold-chain) capabilities across Europe for healthcare customers.
