Quad-C Management Recapitalizes and Acquires MNX Global Logistics

Quad-C Management has recapitalized and purchased MNX Global Logistics from Audax Private Equity, with terms not disclosed. MNX, headquartered in Long Beach, California, will continue to be led by CEO John Labrie and his senior team while Quad-C looks to broaden service offerings, pursue strategic acquisitions, and accelerate organic growth across industry verticals and geographies.

Nippon Express Acquires MD Logistics and MD Express (U.S.)

Nippon Express Co., Ltd., via its U.S. subsidiary Nippon Express USA, Inc., completed the acquisition of all equity interests in MD Logistics, LLC and MD Express, LLC, making the businesses subsidiaries. MD Logistics is a U.S.-based third-party logistics provider (founded 1996) specializing in pharmaceutical cold-chain warehousing and distribution, with multiple facilities in Indiana and a site in Reno, Nevada and reported roughly $51M revenue for 2019.

UPS to Acquire Frigo-Trans and BPL for Healthcare Cold-Chain Logistics Expansion

UPS has agreed to acquire Frigo-Trans and its sister company BPL (together “Frigo-Trans”), Germany-based providers of complex healthcare logistics. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025 and is intended to expand UPS’s end-to-end, temperature-controlled (cold-chain) capabilities across Europe for healthcare customers.

Quantix Acquires CLX Logistics

Quantix SCS, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, has acquired CLX Logistics, a Blue Bell, Pennsylvania-based provider of chemical-focused transportation management systems, managed services, liquid bulk 3PL and analytics. The deal expands Quantix's capabilities in liquid bulk and technology, creating a combined chemical-focused 3PL platform with more than $2 billion in logistics spend, approximately 5,400 owned assets, 40+ distribution centers and rail terminals, and 3,300 partner carrier relationships.

Canon Medical Systems USA Acquires NXC Imaging
