Accenture has acquired Barcelona-based Alfa Consulting, a consultancy specializing in operations strategy and supply chain analytics for capital-intensive industries. The 52-consultant firm will join Accenture's Supply Chain & Operations function to bolster capabilities across Spain, Portugal and Mexico; terms were not disclosed.

ALLETE Acquires New Energy Equity

ALLETE, Inc. (NYSE:ALE) has closed its acquisition of New Energy Equity, a distributed and community solar developer based in Annapolis, Maryland, for approximately $165.5 million. New Energy Equity has completed more than 250 distributed solar projects totaling over 330 MW and brings a ~2 GW development pipeline across 26 states; the company's management team and headquarters will remain in place.

ReneSola Power Acquires Emeren Limited

ReneSola Ltd (ReneSola Power) completed an all-cash acquisition of Emeren Limited, a United Kingdom-based developer of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, on October 10, 2022. The deal adds Emeren’s ~2.5 GW development pipeline and development expertise in Italy and other European markets to ReneSola’s European growth strategy.

Sval Energi Acquires Edison Norge

Sval Energi AS has agreed to acquire Edison Norge AS from Edison for an agreed price of USD 300 million (financially effective 1 January 2020). The acquisition adds ~25 mmboe (57% gas) to Sval’s reserve base and increases its interests in the Dvalin and Nova developments, strengthening its upstream position on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Bain Capital Acquires Controlling Stake in Eleda from Altor

Bain Capital Private Equity has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Eleda, the Stockholm-headquartered Nordic infrastructure projects and services group, from Altor, which will retain a minority stake. Eleda's founders and management will reinvest, and Bain will partner with the team to accelerate growth—particularly in segments tied to the green transition such as water, power distribution, district heating, roads, data centres and EV charging.

Albireo Energy Acquires Environmental Energy Corp.

Albireo Energy, the building automation and energy services platform backed by Huron Capital, has acquired Environmental Energy Corp. (EEC), a Deer Park, New York–based energy management systems provider serving large commercial and higher education buildings. The deal is an add-on to Albireo's platform intended to expand its presence in the New York metropolitan market and broaden its building automation capabilities.
