Calera Capital (through an affiliate) acquired a majority stake in Nocturne Luxury Villas from Gladstone Investment Corporation; financial terms were not disclosed. Nocturne is a luxury vacation rental management platform with operations in St. Barth's, Grand Cayman, Telluride (CO), Cabo San Lucas (Mexico), Santa Barbara (CA) and Florida's Emerald Coast and is headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island.

Gladstone Investment and Aureus Capital Back Nocturne Villa Rentals to Acquire Exceptional Stays

Nocturne (with management) completed the acquisition of Exceptional Stays, a luxury vacation rental manager with approximately 90 properties primarily in Telluride, Colorado, as the platform's initial investment.

Gladstone Investment provided additional secured debt to support the add-on acquisition, expanding Nocturne's luxury vacation rental portfolio to include SBP's ~250 high-end properties on St. Barth.

Gladstone Investment Corporation partnered with Xyresic Capital to acquire The E3 Company, a Kilgore, Texas-based provider of pressure management solutions for oil and gas well completions, investing $46.0 million in a combination of senior secured debt and equity. Separately, Gladstone expanded its investment in its portfolio company Nocturne Luxury Villas by financing Nocturne’s acquisition of Exclusive 30A Rentals (more than 100 properties) via an $18.7 million senior secured loan.

Nielsen-Kellerman, a Boothwyn, Pennsylvania-based designer and manufacturer of rugged environmental measurement and sports performance instruments, will leverage Gladstone's resources to expand market reach and enhance product offerings.
