Lyten Acquires Northvolt's BESS Product Portfolio

Lyten announced it has secured more than $200 million in additional equity (primarily from existing investors) and acquired the rights to Northvolt's Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product portfolio, including Voltpack Mobile Systems (VMS) and Voltrack. Core members of Northvolt's energy storage engineering team will join Lyten in Stockholm, and Lyten plans to manufacture VMS and future BESS products in Gdansk, Poland with production targeted for Q4 2025.

Carrier Acquires Addvolt

Carrier Global Corporation has completed the acquisition of Addvolt S.A., a Porto-based transport electrification technology company with about 60 employees. The purchase brings Addvolt's plug-in electric systems, power management and energy-management software into Carrier's Climate Solutions Transportation segment to accelerate the company's electrification capabilities.

Alpine Power Systems Acquires Chicago Industrial Battery, Inc.

Alpine Power Systems has acquired Chicago Industrial Battery, Inc., a Chicagoland provider of motive power batteries, chargers, rentals and services founded in 2010 by Mark Calderini. The purchase expands Alpine's PowerMAX used and rental motive power battery and charger offerings and broadens the company's geographic presence in the Chicago region; Calderini will remain actively involved in the business.

ATC Drivetrain Acquires Global Battery Solutions

Detroit Manufacturing Systems Acquires Android Industries and Avancez to Form Voltava

Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS) completed the acquisition of Android Industries and Avancez and combined the businesses into a new company, Voltava, which is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan and is wholly owned by Bruce Smith. The transaction creates a scaled global manufacturing and assembly platform with approximately 5,400 team members across 21 locations to serve automotive, e-mobility, industrial and other end markets, supported by a $450 million asset-based credit facility.
