Teladoc Health Acquires UpLift for $30M

UpLift — which serves the health plan market, covers over 100 million lives and has a network of ~1,500 providers — will be folded into Teladoc's BetterHelp segment to enable insurance-covered mental health services and expand payer-facing capabilities.

Patient Square Capital Acquires SOC Telemed, Inc.

Patient Square Capital agreed to acquire SOC Telemed, Inc., the largest U.S. provider of acute care telemedicine, in an all-cash transaction valuing SOC Telemed at $3.00 per share. The deal takes SOC Telemed private and will provide capital and industry expertise to expand the company’s clinical capabilities, innovate its Telemed IQ platform and grow its footprint across hospitals, post-acute and value-based care organizations.

Fabric Acquires TeamHealth VirtualCare Service Line from TeamHealth

SOC Telemed Acquires Access Physicians

SOC Telemed (Nasdaq: TLMD) completed a cash-and-stock acquisition of Access Physicians valued at approximately $194 million, with potential additional performance-based consideration. The deal creates the largest pure-play acute care telemedicine company in the U.S., expanding clinical service lines and national reach to nearly 1,000 facilities (including over 700 hospitals) across 47 states and producing an estimated pro forma 2021 revenue of $107–$113 million.
