Eaton Acquires Royal Power Solutions from Industrial Growth Partners

Eaton has acquired Royal Power Solutions, a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-precision electrical connectivity components, from Industrial Growth Partners for $600 million. The acquisition strengthens Eaton's position in electrification end markets (e.g., eMobility, energy management and industrial markets) and adds manufacturing capacity and product capabilities.

Eaton Acquires 49% Stake in Jiangsu Ryan Electrical Co. Ltd.

Eaton completed the acquisition of a 49% minority stake in Jiangsu Ryan Electrical Co. Ltd., a Nantong, Jiangsu-based manufacturer of power distribution and sub-transmission transformers. The deal gives Eaton greater access to Ryan’s manufacturing capabilities and China/Asia-Pacific customers as it expands its presence in renewable energy, data center, utility and industrial end markets.

Eaton Acquires Tripp Lite for $1.65 Billion

RESA Power Acquires 3MD Power Services LLC

RESA Power, a Kohlberg-backed provider of power systems services, has acquired 3MD Power Services LLC, a Roanoke, Virginia-based specialist in high-voltage transformer testing, repair, maintenance and installation. The add-on expands RESA Power's transformer solutions capabilities, increases its oil/dielectric fluid processing rig fleet and establishes a local operating presence in the South Atlantic states.

Partners Group Acquires Resilient Infrastructure Group

Partners Group has acquired Resilient Infrastructure Group, a Portland-based water infrastructure platform that develops, finances and operates distributed water and wastewater facilities across the US and Canada. Financial terms were not disclosed; Partners Group said it will work with Resilient’s management to expand the platform through development projects, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, and noted Resilient has closed an investment in a wastewater-to-renewable natural gas project at Threemile Canyon Farms in Oregon.

Sensata Technologies Acquires Spear Power Systems

Sensata Technologies has agreed to acquire Spear Power Systems, a Grandview, Missouri-based developer and manufacturer of advanced energy storage systems, to advance Sensata's electrification strategy. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) brings Spear's team — including more than 40 engineers — and its battery management and energy storage capabilities into Sensata to expand its clean energy and OEM solutions.
