Sensata Technologies Acquires Spear Power Systems

Sensata Technologies has agreed to acquire Spear Power Systems, a Grandview, Missouri-based developer and manufacturer of advanced energy storage systems, to advance Sensata's electrification strategy. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) brings Spear's team — including more than 40 engineers — and its battery management and energy storage capabilities into Sensata to expand its clean energy and OEM solutions.
