Kohlberg & Company has acquired Myers Emergency Power Systems (Myers EPS) from Graham Partners, with Graham retaining a significant ownership stake and Myers management continuing to lead the business. The deal positions Myers EPS to accelerate growth and expand capabilities in emergency lighting backup power and smart controls across mission-critical end markets such as data centers, healthcare, government and distribution warehouses.

Myers Emergency Power Systems (a Graham Partners portfolio company) has acquired the business of Low Voltage Systems, Inc., a family-owned San Leandro-based manufacturer of emergency lighting controls and mini inverters. The deal adds lighting control capabilities to Myers EPS's emergency backup power product set; LVS's president and former majority owner, Leon Hermans, will retain an investment and join the combined management team.

Sensata Technologies Acquires Spear Power Systems

Sensata Technologies has agreed to acquire Spear Power Systems, a Grandview, Missouri-based developer and manufacturer of advanced energy storage systems, to advance Sensata's electrification strategy. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) brings Spear's team — including more than 40 engineers — and its battery management and energy storage capabilities into Sensata to expand its clean energy and OEM solutions.

Generac Acquires PowerPlay Business from SunGrid Solutions

Lyten Acquires Northvolt's BESS Product Portfolio

Lyten announced it has secured more than $200 million in additional equity (primarily from existing investors) and acquired the rights to Northvolt's Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product portfolio, including Voltpack Mobile Systems (VMS) and Voltrack. Core members of Northvolt's energy storage engineering team will join Lyten in Stockholm, and Lyten plans to manufacture VMS and future BESS products in Gdansk, Poland with production targeted for Q4 2025.
