KKR, Ontario Teachers' and PSP Investments Acquire Spark Infrastructure

A consortium of KKR, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board and PSP Investments completed an all-cash acquisition of Spark Infrastructure for approximately A$5.2 billion. The deal, which received all regulatory approvals, gives the investors ownership of Spark's stakes in SA Power Networks, Victoria Power Networks (Citipower and Powercor), a stake in TransGrid and the Bomen Solar Farm as they seek to support Australia’s transition to low-carbon electricity infrastructure.

Ontario Teachers' Acquires Co-Control Stake in GPA Global

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board has acquired a co-control stake in GPA Global from EQT Private Equity and other minority shareholders; GPA founders Tom Wang and Adam Melton rolled equity and will continue to lead the company. KKR Acquires Majority Stake in ERM from OMERS Private Equity and AIMCo

Ontario Teachers' Acquires Majority Stake in Sevana Bioenergy

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Sevana Bioenergy and will make a $250 million capital commitment to accelerate development of renewable natural gas (RNG) projects across North America. Sevana, an owner-operator of large-scale anaerobic digestion projects, has deployed over $350 million of projects under construction and operates digester facilities across agricultural regions including Oregon, Idaho and South Dakota.
