Safe and Green Development Corporation Acquires Resource Group US Holdings LLC

Safe and Green Development Corporation (NASDAQ: SGD) has completed the acquisition of Resource Group US Holdings LLC, a vertically integrated organics recycling and engineered soils business that operates a permitted composting facility, two green-waste aggregation sites and a transportation fleet. As consideration, SGD issued common stock, a new series of convertible preferred stock and unsecured promissory notes to the Resource Group equityholders; the Resource Group management team will remain in place to support integration and scaling of revenue-generating operations.

GrowGeneration Corp. Acquires HGS Hydro

GrowGeneration Corp. signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire HGS Hydro, the third-largest chain of hydroponic garden centers in the U.S., adding six existing Michigan stores (with a seventh opening soon). The acquisition will increase GrowGeneration's Michigan footprint and bring its total store count to 65, and is expected to close before GrowGeneration's fiscal year-end 2021.

Huma Inc. Acquires Gro-Power, Inc.

The deal preserves Gro-Power’s legacy products and adds granular fertilizer and soil conditioner technologies to Huma’s existing liquid nutrient and specialty product lines; terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition adds roughly 20 employees and more than 20,000 square feet of retail space to GrowGen’s nationwide footprint, bringing the company to 50 stores and expanding its presence in Southern California.
