Vertu Capital partnered with BDC Capital and Firmex management to acquire Toronto-based virtual data room provider Firmex from private equity firm Novacap. Financial terms were not disclosed; Bank of Montreal provided debt financing and Firmex management retains a minority stake while Novacap exits.

Datasite Acquires Sherpany

The deal (terms undisclosed) is expected to close in Q1 2024 and will see Sherpany operate as a strategic business unit within Datasite to extend Datasite's product suite and board collaboration capabilities.
