MPAY Acquires Southland Data Processing

MPAY, a privately held payroll and human capital management provider, has acquired Southland Data Processing (SDP) effective July 1, 2024. The deal brings SDP's client base and payroll processing expertise into MPAY's Payentry service bureau, expanding MPAY's capabilities and West Coast presence while maintaining continuity on the Millennium platform.

PayDay Employer Solutions Acquires StarPay Payroll & HR Solutions

PayDay Employer Solutions, a Bellmawr, New Jersey-based payroll and employer services provider, has acquired StarPay Payroll & HR Solutions of Long Island (Melville/Plainview, New York). The seller will retain StarPay's local service team and owner Cheryl Frankel in a client-facing role, and the deal expands PayDay's client roster to more than 3,000 companies while preserving StarPay's existing software and reporting.

TransPerfect Acquires Paybooks Technologies

TransPerfect has acquired India-based Paybooks Technologies, a cloud-based HR, payroll, and compliance platform, in a deal announced Sept. 30, 2024; financial terms were not disclosed. Paybooks will continue to be led by CEO Samira Rao, COO Gururaja Upendra, and CPO Prakash Kumar (who will join TransPerfect's senior management), and all employees are being retained as the business gains access to TransPerfect’s global footprint and R&D resources.

Execupay Acquires Professional Payroll

Execupay, part of Vensure Employer Solutions, has acquired Professional Payroll, a Fort Lauderdale-based payroll and HR services provider founded in 2003 that serves more than 150 clients across all 50 states. The acquisition expands Execupay and Vensure's HR/payroll service capabilities and industry-focused offerings, notably for hospitality companies and medical practices.

IRIS Software Group Acquires Thomson Reuters myPay Solutions
