The Colt Group Acquires Plant Services, Inc.

The Colt Group, a Houston-based provider of on-line industrial leak repair solutions backed by Capstreet, has acquired Plant Services, Inc. (PSI), a Worden, Montana-based specialist in on-line leak repair, hot tapping, line stopping and field machining, expanding Colt's footprint across the Rocky Mountain region. Terms were not disclosed; NXT Capital provided financing in support of Capstreet's add-on acquisition and refinancing of The Colt Group.

The Colt Group, a Houston-based on-line industrial leak repair and mechanical services provider, has acquired RJ Stacey, a Lake Orion, Michigan specialist in hot tapping, line stopping and on-line leak repair. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Colt’s Midwest footprint and adds RJ Stacey’s hot tap/line stop capabilities to Colt’s service offering; RJ Stacey founder and CEO Ryan Stacey will remain with the company.

The acquisition (terms not disclosed) expands Colt's line intervention capabilities and geographic reach across its service territories while retaining Garrison's leadership team for continuity.

Walker & Dunlop, Inc. acquired TapCap, a web-based technology platform that provides real-time online quotes for commercial real estate debt, to accelerate and scale its small balance lending business. TapCap founder and CEO Zac Rosenberg will join Walker & Dunlop's technology group as the company integrates the platform to improve borrower experience and reduce underwriting and closing costs.
