HID Global Acquires GuardRFID

HID Global has acquired GuardRFID, a Vancouver-based provider of real-time location services (RTLS) hardware and software for healthcare, to expand HID’s healthcare and active RFID/RTLS offerings. GuardRFID will be integrated into HID’s Identification Technologies business and IoT unit to broaden patient safety, staff duress, asset-tracking and infant-security solutions for healthcare providers.
