RENK Group AG has completed the acquisition of Cincinnati Gearing Systems Inc., which will operate as RENK America Marine & Industry LLC. The deal brings CGS's Mariemont and Milford, Ohio facilities (≈15,000 sqm) and over 100 skilled employees to RENK, strengthening RENK's North American presence and naval/defense transmission capabilities.

RENK Group (via Horstman) Acquires General Kinetics to Create Horstman Canada

Triton Sells Remaining RENK Shares, Completing Exit

RENK, a Germany-headquartered manufacturer of mission-critical drive solutions with operations worldwide, strengthened its global position and completed strategic add-ons under Triton's ownership.

Triton (via Rebecca BidCo) Acquires Majority Stake in RENK AG

Triton V, through its subsidiary Rebecca BidCo, signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in RENK AG from Volkswagen Vermögensverwaltungs-GmbH and other shareholders, valuing VW’s 76% stake at €97.80 per share. The transaction completed in October 2020 after a voluntary public takeover offer that secured an additional ~14.2% of shares; RENK AG (headquartered in Augsburg, Germany) will be a Triton portfolio company focused on expanding its technology leadership and digitalisation initiatives.

L3Harris to Acquire Aerojet Rocketdyne

L3Harris Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc. for $58 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at $4.7 billion inclusive of net debt. The deal, financed with cash and new debt, will combine Aerojet Rocketdyne’s propulsion and energetics capabilities (about $2.3 billion in revenue and ~5,200 employees) with L3Harris to strengthen defense propulsion, hypersonics and missile-defense offerings; the transaction is expected to close subject to regulatory approvals in 2023.

AE Industrial Partners Acquires Controlling Stake in L3Harris Space Propulsion & Power Business (Rocketdyne)
