RENK Group acquired L3Harris Technologies' Combat Propulsion Systems business for roughly $400 million in cash and also purchased L3Magnet-Motor GmbH, forming RENK America headquartered in Muskegon, Michigan. The deal expands RENK's U.S. manufacturing footprint and capabilities in armored-vehicle propulsion and hybrid drive solutions while retaining nearly 400 U.S. employees.

RENK Group (via Horstman) Acquires General Kinetics to Create Horstman Canada

RENK Group, through its suspension specialist Horstman, has acquired General Kinetics Engineering Corporation and combined it with Horstman's existing mobility operations to create Horstman Canada. The deal brings General Kinetics' Canadian and U.S. facilities and employees into Horstman's global footprint to expand RENK's presence and capabilities in North American combat vehicle suspension and vibration mitigation.

Triton Sells Remaining RENK Shares, Completing Exit

G&N Group (AURELIUS Growth Investments) Acquires Renz Sicherheitstechnik

G.S. Precision Acquires F.T. Gearing Systems

G.S. Precision, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, has acquired F.T. Gearing Systems, a U.K.-based manufacturer of highly engineered aerospace gears. The deal expands G.S. Precision's gear capabilities and provides access to F.T. Gearing's blue-chip aerospace and defense customers; the Fitzgerald owners will remain with the business. Terms were not disclosed.

The Timken Company Acquires CGI, Inc.

The Timken Company has completed its acquisition of CGI, Inc., a family-owned Nevada manufacturer of precision drive systems that serves automation markets with a concentration in medical robotics. CGI employs roughly 130 people and is expected to generate about $45 million in sales in 2024; the acquisition expands Timken's precision motion-control portfolio and capabilities.
