Vitec Imaging Solutions, a division of The Vitec Group plc, agreed on 16 November 2021 to acquire Savage Universal Corp, a manufacturer of photographic backgrounds based in the Phoenix area, with the deal expected to close by the end of November 2021. The acquisition brings Savage’s background and backdrop manufacturing capabilities into Vitec’s portfolio of imaging accessories to expand product offerings for professional photographers, content creators and vloggers.
