VSE Corporation Completes Acquisition of Kellstrom Aerospace Group

VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) closed its previously announced acquisition of Kellstrom Aerospace Group, Inc. (Kellstrom) for approximately $200 million. The deal expands VSE Aviation’s presence in the commercial aerospace engine aftermarket by adding Kellstrom’s engine-focused distribution and MRO/technical services capabilities.

VSE Corporation has completed the acquisition of Desser Aerospace from Graham Partners for total cash consideration of $124 million, with a concurrent sale of Desser's Proprietary Solutions businesses to the Loar Group for $30 million (resulting in a net cash outlay to VSE of $94 million). Desser is a global aftermarket distributor of specialty aircraft tires, brakes, batteries and an MRO provider with operations in California, Tennessee, the United Kingdom and Australia; VSE and Loar expect the transactions to expand geographic reach and aftermarket/MRO capabilities.
