Wild Bioscience Acquires F1 Seed to Build Britain’s First Independent Precision-Breeding Wheat Business

Wild Bioscience, a University of Oxford spinout, has acquired F1 Seed, an independent wheat breeding business led by Bill Angus. The combination brings together Wild Bio’s evolutionary biology, gene editing, and AI-led trait discovery with F1 Seed’s breeding expertise and germplasm pipeline to create a fully integrated end-to-end UK wheat seed company.
