WSP Global to Acquire TRC Companies for $3.3 Billion

WSP Global has agreed to acquire TRC Companies, a U.S. power and energy engineering and consulting firm, for US$3.3 billion in an all-cash deal. The transaction is intended to expand WSP’s power and energy capabilities across the infrastructure lifecycle and position the combined business as a leading U.S. engineering and design platform by revenue.
